Hailie Jade Is Throwing Her First Tailgate: Inside the “Just A Little Shady Tailgate” Before Lions vs. Vikings

Hailie Jade and her Just A Little Shady co-host Brittany Zilli are hosting a game-day tailgate on Woodward Avenue on Sunday, November 1, a few hours before the Lions host the Vikings. Here is everything that's confirmed.

Hailie put it on her Instagram story with three words and a blue heart: "BUY TICKETS HERE! 💙". Underneath was the flyer for the Just A Little Shady Tailgate, done up like a game ticket: a football, a Woodward Ave street sign, a "Detroit" heart, and a disco ball for good measure.

As far as we can find, it's the first tailgate the podcast has ever put on, and the first time Hailie has fronted a ticketed game-day event in her hometown.

The details

• Date: Sunday, November 1, 2026
• Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET. Check-in starts at 10:45 a.m., and the organizers ask people not to show up before then.
• Venue: Union Assembly, 2nd floor, 2131 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48201
• Meet and greet: Hailie Jade and Brittany Zilli. Per the ticket page, the photo opportunity runs from 11 to 11:45 a.m.
• What's included: a DJ, drinks and cocktails, complimentary food from Mom's Spaghetti, game-day fun, and on-site gifting worth more than $100 from local brands, including Detroit favorite Greyson.

• Tickets: required for entry, and the organizers say space is limited. They're sold through the event's Humanitix page, which is also linked in the bios of @justalittleshadypodcast and @seeyousundayevents. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.

Parking: there isn't any on site. The organizers say to plan on one of the downtown lots or structures and walk over.

The game

The tailgate leads into the Lions' Week 8 game. Detroit hosts the Minnesota Vikings at Ford Field at 1 p.m. ET, on FOX, so the tailgate wraps up right at kickoff. It's the second of back-to-back NFC North home games, a week after the Packers come to town. You don't need a game ticket to go to the tailgate. Union Assembly sits on the stretch of Woodward that runs through The District Detroit, a short walk from the stadium.

Familiar address

If 2131 Woodward sounds familiar, it should. It's the same building as Mom's Spaghetti, where the podcast launched Season 5 with a pop-up on August 14. I drove four hours from Niagara for that one and met Hailie and Brittany upstairs. The tailgate is catered by Mom's Spaghetti too, so this is the podcast going back to its home base for a bigger party.

Who's hosting

Just A Little Shady is Hailie's weekly podcast about her life, pop culture and, in the show's own words, getting "a little shady." It launched in 2022 and is now in its fifth season. Brittany Zilli is her co-host and longtime friend. Longtime listeners will know her as Brittany Ednie: she got married this summer and told listeners about the name change in the Season 5 premiere. See You Sunday Events is a Detroit company that runs curated markets and game-day events built around women-owned brands. It has already done Lions tailgates and its "Sundays Are For Detroit" markets this season.

There's no word of an Eminem appearance, and nobody involved has hinted at one. This is Hailie's event, not her dad's.
