Eminem Crosses 66 Billion Spotify Streams, and September Handed Him Four Song Milestones on the Way
Eminem's career Spotify total was 65.96 billion on Kworb's September 24 update, moving at 18.6 million a day, which put 66 billion in the last week of September. The same month, Mockingbird passed 2.6 billion, The Monster 1.5 billion, Houdini 800 million and Homicide 600 million. Here are the verified numbers, where he ranks, and the projected dates for everything that falls next.

The career counter rolled past another billion, and underneath it, four separate songs cleared round numbers inside one week. Here is the whole board, checked against Kworb.
Kworb's September 24 update had Eminem at 65,964,615,209 Spotify streams across every credit, adding 18,637,020 a day. That left him 35.4 million short of 66 billion, less than two days of listening, so by the math the line fell in the September 26 update. That date is worked out from the September 24 figures rather than read off a screenshot, but his daily rate barely moves week to week, so it will not be off by more than a day.
For scale: we clocked the 60 billion crossing last November. Six more billion in roughly eleven months works out to about 18 million streams a day, every day, for a catalogue whose core was recorded between 1999 and 2004. That is the headline. The more interesting part is what happened underneath it in September.
Four song milestones in six days
Working backward from each song's September 24 total and daily rate, four records crossed round numbers between September 13 and September 20. Daily counts wobble with weekends, so read these as the Kworb update in which each number first appeared, give or take a day:
- The Monster passed 1.5 billion around September 13. It sat at 1,507,831,462 on the 24th, adding 713,356 a day. Bebe Rexha, who wrote the hook, was retelling the night the song was born the same month.
- Houdini passed 800 million around September 16. It was at 802,218,928, adding 267,598 a day, a little under two and a half years after its May 2024 release.
- Homicide, Logic's single with Em on the second verse, passed 600 million around September 18, landing at 600,429,125 with 71,461 a day. Its timing was neat: Logic had just opened his tour by posting the Eminem photo off his wall, taken the day he first heard that verse.
- Mockingbird passed 2.6 billion around September 20. It was at 2,604,287,068, adding 951,165 a day, about 3.5 months after it cleared 2.5 billion in June.
Mockingbird is the one to watch. At 951,165 a day it is nearly as fast as Lose Yourself (994,442) and well ahead of Till I Collapse (744,597) and The Real Slim Shady (760,635), both of which it has already passed. A late single from 2004's Encore is now his third-biggest song on the platform and still gaining ground on the two above it.
Where 66 billion ranks
On Kworb's artist totals, Eminem is ninth among all artists. Ahead of him: Drake, Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Kanye West and Travis Scott. Among rappers he is fourth, behind Drake (141.2 billion), Kanye (66.87 billion) and Travis Scott (66.61 billion). Ed Sheeran is right behind him at 65.66 billion, but Em adds about 4.6 million more a day, so that gap widens. Travis, 649 million ahead and faster by roughly 2.3 million a day, is pulling away rather than coming back.
The split is where Eminem looks strongest. Kworb separates streams by credit, and 55.45 billion of his total comes from songs where he is the lead artist. On that measure he is eighth overall and second among rappers, behind only Drake, and ahead of Kanye (47.77 billion). Features make up only 10.52 billion of his total, a far smaller slice than for most of the rappers around him. Nearly all of this number comes from his own records.
His top ten on Spotify
As of Kworb's September 24 update (an asterisk means Em is credited as a feature):
| # | Song | Total streams | Daily |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Without Me | 3,241,398,066 | 1,201,598 |
| 2 | Lose Yourself | 3,027,402,502 | 994,442 |
| 3 | Mockingbird | 2,604,287,068 | 951,165 |
| 4 | Till I Collapse | 2,585,708,933 | 744,597 |
| 5 | The Real Slim Shady | 2,564,450,229 | 760,635 |
| 6 | Love The Way You Lie | 2,375,560,038 | 1,135,094 |
| 7 | Godzilla (feat. Juice WRLD) | 1,945,130,048 | 410,551 |
| 8 | Smack That* | 1,792,632,989 | 935,967 |
| 9 | Stan | 1,551,980,788 | 562,316 |
| 10 | The Monster | 1,507,831,462 | 713,356 |
The daily column matters more than the totals. Love The Way You Lie is doing 1.14 million a day, second only to Without Me, which is why it keeps climbing this list. Fourteen Eminem songs are past a billion on Kworb: twelve as lead, plus Smack That and Forgot About Dre as features. Lose Yourself joined Without Me above 3 billion in late August, the same week The Eminem Show passed 10 billion.
What falls next (projected)
Every date below is a straight-line projection from the September 24 totals and daily rates, so the first two have likely already landed by the time you read this. Real counts move with playlists, holidays and anything that puts him back in the news, so treat these as a calendar, not a guarantee:
- Without Me, 3.25 billion: about October 2.
- Smack That, 1.8 billion: about October 2.
- Till I Collapse, 2.6 billion: about October 14.
- Love The Way You Lie, 2.4 billion: about October 16.
- Lose Yourself, 3.05 billion: about October 17.
- Houdini passes Lucky You (807.8 million, 101,097 a day): about October 27.
- The Real Slim Shady, 2.6 billion: about November 10.
- Career total, 67 billion: about November 19.
- Superman, 1.5 billion, and Stan, 1.6 billion: within two days of each other, around December 17 and 19.
- Venom, 1 billion: about late January 2027, at 975.9 million and 198,093 a day. It would be his first billion-stream song from Kamikaze.
Houdini is the one newer record in the conversation. At 267,598 a day it is outpacing everything he has released since The Monster except Godzilla, and in about a month it should pass Lucky You to sit just behind Forever. For a 2024 single to outrun most of the 2010s catalogue says something about the last two years.
The headline number is 66 billion, but the four September milestones are the better sign. Six of his ten biggest songs are more than twenty years old, and one of them, a lullaby for his daughters, is still gaining on Lose Yourself.
